What happens when you change your Y!A nickname?
I noticed I have the option of using my Yahoo!360 name for Y!A. If I switch to that, does the asker/answerer name change on all my previous posts? Do people in my network get notified of the change? Is there any way for others to view my name history? I don’t want to vanish/create another persona… just wondering what a name change looks like from the outside looking in, so I can decide whether the ends justify the means.
It should change for all your other posts, just like your avatar would. People won’t be able to tell what your old name was, I think, unless you post it on your profile. People, even your contacts, should not be notified, but I don’t know for sure.
